General Purpose: Clients can interact with other people.

Specific Purpose I: Clients can build a trusting relationship

Intervention:
  • Give a therapeutic greeting
  • Introduce the name, nickname of the nurse, and the purpose of introducing yourself
  • Ask and call the client's favorite name
  • Show honest attitude and keep promises every time you interact
  • Ask the client's feelings and problems faced by the client
  • Make clear contact interactions.

Specific Purpose II: The client can mention the cause of withdrawal

Intervention:
  • Assess client's knowledge of self-withdrawal behavior
  • Give the client an opportunity to express feelings that cause the client does not want to socialize.
  • Give praise to the client's ability to express his feelings.

Specific Purpose III: Clients can mention the advantages of interacting with others and the disadvantages of interacting with others

Intervention:
  • Assess client knowledge about the benefits of having friends
  • Give clients the opportunity to interact with others
  • Discuss with clients about the benefits of interacting with others
  • Give praise for the ability to express feelings about the benefits of interacting with others
  • Assess client's knowledge of interacting with others

Specific Purpose IV: Clients can carry out social interactions in stages.

Intervention:
  • Assessing the ability of clients to build relationships with others
  • Demonstrate ways to connect or interact with others
  • Encourage clients to interact with others
  • Give praise to the client for the success that has been achieved
  • Help clients evaluate the benefits of social relationships
  • Discuss daily schedules can be done with clients in filling time, i.e. interacting with others

Specific Purpose V: Clients can express their feelings after interacting with others.

Intervention:
  • Encouraging clients to express their feelings when interacting with others
  • Discuss with clients about their feelings after interacting with others
  • Give praise for the client's ability to express the feeling of the benefits of interacting with others.

Specific Purpose VI: Clients can use a support system or family.

Intervention:
  • Cultivate a relationship of mutual trust with family Discuss about:
  • Self-withdrawal behavior
  • Causes of withdrawal behavior
  • The consequences that occur when the behavior of withdrawal is not responded to
  • The way families deal with withdrawal behavior
  • Encourage family members to provide support to clients in communicating with others.
